    Default Sheep Hunt 07

    I got this sheep on the 5th of september first day of my season in the Chugach park.





    Went back to the same area with a friend i drew the tag with and he got this one on the last day with 3 hours left of season

    That is why the last day, is just as good as opening day to take your sheep. Stay positive until it is over. Nice sheep gentleman.

    Man is that a nice ram. Look like you might have got him at a little lower elevation. How high did you have to go?

    i had to hike quite a ways to get to him but he was on some cliffs he fell quite a ways down by the bushes and the other one that my buddy got was real high and steep but short hike

    Two wonderful looking rams. Love the clean coat and espresso colored horns on your ram.

    Awesome!! Nice job. There is something about this sheep hunting. I love looking at pics and hearing stories. Maybe it's the one sheep hunter to another thing. We know what it can take and how rewarding it is and how incredible sheep country and Dall Sheep are. To get your ram and then to be able to go back and have your partner get one!?!? Man, how cool is that...

    Nicely done, guys! I love hearing about sheep hunts, whether successful or not. There is simply no other hunting quite like chasing rams in the high alpine. I love it!

    hey what did f&g say the ages were on your guys's sheep....i looked at em at work and i thought yours was 11 and kiles was 8
