    Default DM920 Bull

Shot this bruiser (61")on 12 Sept 07 at 25 yards after calling him in. I will admit bowhunting bull moose is an adrenalin RUSH!...I like up close and personal, especially when they are coming in fast, and grunting...CK

    Default Spring Black Bear

No harm, no foul Brian. Accidental deletions happen to the best of us. Here’s a re-post of a picture of a boar black bear I took from the Kenai Mtns while on a backpack hunt in May of ’07. Measured ~ 6’3” nose to tail; taken with a .257 Weatherby Mag.

Default My Eagle River Mountain Goat Hunt

Got this guy on Sep 28th. He measured 8 1/4" long with 5 1/4" bases. Stalked up the side of a cliff that seemed like it was 5000 feet high and made a 150 yard shot with my .308 shooting 150gr Barnes MRX's. After the shot he ran up the mountain and then decided to jump off a 400 foot cliff and then roll and fall off the next one too. Luckily didnt break anything off and didnt bruise up the meat too bad.Great hunt and great tag, I will definitely be putting in for it again.

Goat from Kodiak Draw 475. Shot with a 325 WSM and 200 grain Accubonds (one shot). Bullet went all the way through and had an exit about the size of a half dollar.

    Thumbs up Boy Fills Tag!

My 11 year-old son drew an antlerless moose tag for DM406 and scored! Shot it with a .243 from 30 yards. Nice youngie and very tasty! His first big game animal. Very proud dad!

My friend's first moose on his first ever hunt. A few years ago he wasn't sure if he wanted to learn to hunt, but after this first experience he is loving every moment of it. I love teaching new people to hunt!

It's not a big bull, but this Delta cow filled my friend's freezer and got him started as a hunter. He even made great shots with the 30-06 that he borrowed from me. I couldn't be happier!

    Default Elmendorf Bull

Very hard hunt this year. Hardest I've ever worked for a decent bull, as a matter of fact...

But I'm happy now! Took him on the last day, about to move into Ft. Rich with three nice cows.

    Thanks,
    Taylor

    Default Peninsula Brownie

Here is the "fair chase" brown bear taken by my non-resident brother last week on the Alaska Peninsula. The bear squared 8-feet and died 50 yards from our tent.

Our Delta cow, certainly isn't a big bull but certainly a fine find for our freezer. She was one heck of a bruiser!
