    Default Scents for Brownies

Does anyone use scents for Brown Bears? It looks legal as the regs exclude scents as "bait". Though I'm not sure if it's smart yet either. What are your thoughts and opinions.

I would double check the legality again. The regs specifically say, at least for black bears, that scents may not be used with out a baiting permit. I would assume that it would be a no no for the brown furry critters, too. I found my info on page 3 of the down loaded pdf about bear regs.

Scent lures are allowed for ungulates only so thats moose caribou and deer (maybe bison?)
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
