    Default Hare and toothpick

Caught this little guy up at Denali yesterday. I think he liked getting his picture taken!

    Hey EricL,
How was the trip to Denali? Great shot of the hare. Did you happen to see any larger mammals?

Overall, I guess I was a little disappointed in DNP. It was almost to late for the colors, at least in most of the park. Saw some moose, 4 bear (about a mile of the road), sheep, and a fox. That was about it except for some birds and rabbits. The road was closed alot due to snow and freezing conditions. I got to drive back to the Toklat River. After I left, I heard they opened it on up the rest of the way.

    Bummer!

I had made two bus trips before I got to make the drive in trip. The first two were pretty disappointing. The drive in run was great. You never know with that park ...it creates it's own weather patterns. It is so vast and I believe the animals few and far between.
