    Default Man!.......

I need a better job! My 16' Lowe Tunnel Jon boat (40 hp Johnson jet) is looking pretty wimpy in the driveway.

i stole a 25 wooldridge from an old timer last a spring for $7500 it only had 500 hrs but it sat for 5 years. I just replaced the 460 with a 400 horse reman.
also all new steering. should be in the water in week or 2. Im only into it for 12k or so. Im willing to sell for 16k lol Not! Well maybe... only problem is my canvas top gives a whole new meaning to ragtop. I just got a scanner try post a pic soon.

22' Wooldridge with a 150 OMC FICHT Intruder. Aluminum floorboards. 3 window version of what they call the Classic now-a-days. The hull was built in 1983 when Wooldridge made boats out of real aluminum.

    Smile my boat

24' X 42" 1973 duracraft with 35 hp Go-Devil Surface Drive outboard. It aint pretty but it will haul 2 guys, gear and a moose in 5" of water. Oh yeah, it burns 3 gallons per hour at 21 miles per hour. It will go shallower and faster if there are mud and weeds on the bottom, but that might just be bragging.

I own just what Snyd had. A 22 foot Almar Jetline with a 351 Ford in 'er. I am fixing it up a bit right now getting ready for Valdez etc. I put a new carb. on it last week and am stripping carpet and painting it right now and will replace the carpet up the sides.

Smile Jetcraft XS and SportJon owners..

Sorry folks, I don't want to try to break the thread here, but this is for FarmerGrant and others with the Jetcraft XS or SportJon. Send me a PM or respond here if you would. I sold my boat and am seriously debating/choosing one of these two for my next boat. I run lots of shallows and love late season river hunting. I've talked to a handful of folks who own them, as well as dealers, and am getting alot of mixed responses from both sides. My questions are usually about cavitation, workmanship, options from the factory, performance, mileage w/ & w/o a load, service and/or problems, etc... If I think that the boat is worth it, the price isn't an issue. Will you honestly tell me what YOU like, don't like or might change if you could? Both boats have their pro's and con's. I'm at the point of splitting hairs here but any and all information that I can get would be greatly appreciated. I'm not beyond going to Idaho or Oregon to pick one of these up and save a few grand either. Thanks for your consideration.

Default What Boat do you own?

1993 27ft. SeaSport Navigator. Named the "Trixie-May". Based in Soldotna. Lots of fun and I still can't believe my wife let me buy it. She's the best. How do I place my photo directly in my message, instead of using an attachment?
