    Default non-resident helper?

Curious if there is a rule in hunting regs similar to the one in the dipnetting regs that says a non-resident can't even help in the process.

I've got a friend that recently moved back up that wants to get outdoors. If it wasn't illeagal I'd see if he wanted to tag along on a hunt - you know as a pack mule!

    Thanks

That is perfectly legal, and an excellent way for a new Alaskan to learn the ropes of hunting in the north. Besides, nothing beats a free pack mule when you knock down a large animal. Send him my way when you're done.

Thanks Brian - as obvious as it is in the personal use salmon regs I guessed that it was fine for hunting.

I'll be sure and refer any surviving mules to you!
