    Default Johnson Kenai

Johnson Kenai rifles have a short history. Are JKR firearms and loads still available either in serviceable condition or for collectors? I have a friend in Maine who served at the Kenai military post in the 50s and regrets not purchasing a Johnson Kenai at the time.

    Default Harold Johnson rifles

If you are refering to the modified Model 71 Winchesters that Harold Johnson reworked, they come by once in a rare while. He didn't make that many, not much more then 100 or so. We had 2 come through the store in the last year or so, one brought in by his son, one of Mr. Johnson's own guns left to him. In .450 Alaskan, they can bring anywhere from 1800 to 2500 dollars in good condition.

    Mauserboy,

You don't happen to have either of those JKRs in stock now, do you?
