    Default Whittier bank fishing

Thinking of going to Whittier Saturday early morning to get my line wet one last time and to see if I can finally land a silver. Anyone have any advice on where to go there?
    Thanks.

Smittys and Bear Cove, snag, snag, & snag. Was there last weekend tried vibrax, trolling, jigging, all were taking while snagging.

    Default Whittier update

There isn't much of a road system in Whittier -- anyone you ask at the harbor can direct you to Smitty's and other locations. I just returned from Whittier about 10 minutes ago. The water was calm, no rain, some silvers jumping in the boat harbor -- a nice evening. Considering the glaciers and mountainous setting it was surprisingly warm in Whittier tonight. I saw one boat cleanig halibut -- they had been out for 4 days -- only one day with rain all day. Check the NOAA weather report as I believe you can expect some rain and wind up 20-25kts tomorrow. Call the harbor master in the morning for an update. Expect lots of traffic through the tunnel.

    Default WX Report

I doubt there'll be much traffic today, I for one won't be
    in line with this weather!
I'd rather be on shore wishing I was
boating then on the water wishing I was on land...
