    Default Russian river silvers

Any word on silvers in the Russian? It was recommended to me by a friend but I'd like a positive report before I drive down....

    If not there....where?

    Default Silvers in the Russian?

I've caught them in the Kenai, but never seen any in the Russian.

My buddy and I caught some silvers just below the ferry landing immediatley below the Russian River a few weeks back. Hot pink bunny leeches worked well; last weekend there were a few bank fishermen walking in early in the morning so there must still be some fish there. We skipped it to pursue rainbows. Good luck!

I think most people are working on catching rainbows and dollies...

I have done well on silvers into October on the Russian. You can sight fish them like the reds. Any of the deep holes will hold them. Not a lot of fish, but they are there. If all else fails, put on a bead and fish for bows or dollies.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.
