Thread: Fall Bear Hunting Question

    Default Fall Bear Hunting Question

Looking at hunting some blackies this weekend and not sure where I want to go. Should I go down to the Pennisula and hunt around the Russian Lakes Trail Area or up to Hatcher's Pass? I know blackies will be feasting on blueberries this time of year but I hesitate going to Hatchers because I am not really sure where to go. I have hiked around Reed's Lake Trail and Independence Mine around Archangel Road on the Palmer side, but don't know much about the Willow side. Any idea's for decent trails with blackies in Hatcher's would be appreciated. Feel free to PM me.

I think there are many more blackies on the penninsula than willow creek
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
