    Default Cut caribou bones?

    Never shot a caribou (yet)...

With deer, you generally don't cut bone with a saw since the chips can make the meat gamey. With the larger of the deer species such as elk and moose, it's ok to cut the bones. What about caribou? Ok? Or not ok? Any risk to flavor?

    Thx,
    Brian

    Default good bones

I usually bone my meat out at home per our regulations. I do however leave some meat on the leg bones and cut them up for soup. The marrow really adds some good flavor and I find it's really tasty when you suck it out of those cracked or cut cut bones.

    just my two cents
