there are tons of willow creeks in Alaska...
highly pressured, never seen either there, not even a cow.
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
I was fishing for kings back in June close to a fresh moose kill.....came back a few days later and it was completely eaten. there are moose in the area (it was a cow)....but definitely bears as well.
If you're referring to the Willow creek up in the Susitna valley, then yes, there are moose and bears in there, but it's very thick. Not much for visibilty along that entire creek from the bridge on down to the Su. You'll probably see more bear sign, but again, you never know.
