    Default Very Doable

Just watch the weather and go get a bear. 1 Sept 2005 saw 6 bears in just a few hours of hunting. Like this one.

It was a lot better before they opened the tunnel to vehicle traffic. That being said, glassing the beach and river outlets will reveal bears. At this time of the year, be very careful of the weather as Stid2677 mentioned. Take a hick up the rivers and you may see more bears then if you just stayed ion the boat. And remember, no shooting from boats anymore.

Friend of mine anchored in shotgun cove last weekend and said they saw 6 black bears in the streams all at the same time. Kayakers on the beach yelling at the bears during the night. Sounded real exciting.

Good hunting if you like your bear meat to taste like old salmon I guess. I prefer the tasty spring bears.
