Cool looking for small lakes to hike to

Hello everyone I got a question for you, My father is coming up this week and I am looking for some lakes to hike into so we can fish in our float tubes. Im looking for a remote area with lots of fish. I am in the military and my father is an avid outdoorsman so a 7-10 mile hike though the sticks isnt a big deal. not looking for the path most traveled.

    thank you

Williwaw Lakes in Chugach State Park if you're in Anchorage, or if you're in Fairbanks and have access to 4 wheelers then head out to the back side of Eielson, all the way out to the end of Brigadier Road to the "Golf Ball". There are two trails there. Take the one that heads south towards the Salcha. Its about a 12 mile ride but puts you about 20 miles upstream from the highway bridge. Great grayling fishing.

Cresent lake. It's about 8 mile walk in from what I read. You can go in by the Y Seward/Homer turn off. Or a Cresent trail heading towards copper landing.
