    Default Couple from Eklutna today

Did get out for a quick ride today. Got several shots of momma and baby goat but didn't really have enough lens to get good shots. But here are a couple, one of the lake and one of the East Fork of Eklutna River. Has anyone else seen the area near the old cabin back near the landing strip? Starting about 400 yards from the cabin, the whole shoreline, trail and all, has slid into the lake. Not sure when that happened. I haven't been back there in a while.

No fish. You know I have always wanted to try some fishing out there, but never remember to take the gear.

    Default Alex Cabin

    EricL,

I think it was the second week of July when the Alex cabin fell into the Lake. An employee with the park told me that while the lake was low this spring, the river changed course and took the shore line with it.
