    Unhappy Anything Hot right now?

Looking for somewhere to chase fish close (within 2-3hour drive) to Anchorage tommorrow. Anyone have any suggestions--sound like most area silver reports are pretty slow. I would fish for anything just want some action! Any suggestions would be great.
    Thanks,
    Greg

Well trout fishing is outstanding right now, as is humpy and chum fishing...

    Default Little Su?

Don't know if it is true but I have heard some folks say the Little Su is doing pretty good.

    Default Weir counts

The fish counts on the Little Su and the Deshka are down, what's the deal? Could they magically show up or is this just going to be a bad silver season? Any actual reports out there?

Fish Creek (weekend only fishery) produced limits for me and friends on Sat. Incoming tide was chocked full of chrome coho.

Seems Lil' Su has been hit or miss for me all month.

Second the Seward Intel. It's heating up nicely down there for beach fishing.

Halibut, Yelloweye, Sablefish and silvers are SMOKIN HOT on the outer coast of SE right now. Limits all 3 days for clients, 1 day for a Costco run, then back out again with family for 3 more days... Clients are now paying to ship 550 lbs. of fillets home. Family trip did slightly better with 615 lbs. total.

Best thing to come out of these trips was a new-found respect for the yelloweye... I never realized they grew so old (1 day's bag limit represented nearly 500 years of life!) and I never knew how pretty the otoliths were....
