Ok, so who hunted and who scored?? Did anyone see any critters worthy of a good story or is it hush hush till they are in the freezer??

I went out and was in position at first light. Saw 4 moose, one being a small palmated bull with four points on each side.

I saw one last Monday during the archery season that had 3 points on each side. Close, but not quite...sure did get me excited for a few moments, though.

Saw 2 bulls yesterday morning while going out fishing with my younger son, wish my older one was with us and that I had my .30/06 or .300WM, both would have been down and one would go to my GF's family.

I leave in the am for 4 days...Let ya know how it goes when I get back.
I've had 2 legal bulls in the yard though so I don't think I'll have too much trouble

You'll have to get in line there Buck. The wife gets first crack at them then if I come home empty handed I get my shot. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if she has the spike fork butchered out and in the freezer when I get back from my trip. Everytime he sets foot in the "yard" Tracy starts drooling. Shoot if either of them show up in the next 3 hours I'll be going as a pack mule tomorrow, and doing a ton of fishing!

Well it's officially dark and neither of our frequent guest bulls has shown up so I'm at it full tilt tomorrow I'll send off a report when I get back.

I had no luck today, but I am hoping cooler temps in the passing weeks will binrg them out and on the move. It was hot today and I was wearing a t-shirt trying to stay cool. There's always next weekend, and my back-up plan though.
