Default Best Rounds for a 300

What is everyone's opinion on the best round for a remington 300 win mag for moose and bear, and why do you choose it?

My buddies and I have been using the 180gr partition federal premium load for several years now and it has worked very well. I also think that the 180 TSX load is a good one and might try it out this year. Pretty much any premium180-200gr bullet is what you want for most alaskan big game hunting. Partition, Accubond, tsx, mrx, aframe, scirocco, Northfork, kodiak bonded, Trophy bonded bearclaw, and probably others that I have missed. Any of the premium bullets in 180-200grs will work.

I have always been a big fan of the Federal premium line of bullets, usually accurate and consistant.

im shooting 180gr blackhills gold with the barnes tsx, they shoot good on paper,i will be trying them out on goats in september.i was suprisied when i was shooting them,i had my gun sighted in 1.5 inches high @ 100yds
zero @ 200yds.now the funny thing is at 300yds i was also dead on with no hold over,im thinking that this ammo is a hotter load being that my gun shoots these at the same place at 200yds or 300yds.by the way theses shells do have a pretty good kick.

The 180gr Nosler Part or Accubond are excellent along with the 180 TSX in the 300 Win Mag.

Winchester Supreme Failsafes! 180g. I have the original hollow points and heard good things about the new polymer tipped ones. Can't wait to try them out next month.
The emphasis is on accuracy, not power!
