I am planning a spot and stalk spring bear hunt around 2nd week of June 2008. I have heard many guys in May having bad luck due to late spring, so I would rather hunt later and risk bears being rubbed then still hibernating. I plan to bowhunt but will also take a rifle.

1. Where would the bears typically be at that time? Tidal flats or up higher?

2. Will bugs be a problem in mid June?

3. Will it be to grown up to spot bears?

4.Will it be very hard to find unrubbed bears? I have heard yes & no.
