Default Do moon phases affect fishing?

I've got a group of guys coming up to Ketchikan at the end of the month - right at full moon. Will this affect our ability to catch fish, and is there anything that we can do about it?
    Thanks,
    Gary

if you are halibut fishing a neap tide is better because you get more time when the tide is not running. If you are fishing tidal flats or something I prefer spring tides because you get more time at low tide to poke around thde estuary with the fish concentrated. I also like how when there are spring tides its a bit easier to fish for rockfish and stuff off the beach. theres really enough fish down there that it doesn't matter all that much.
I choose to fly fish, not because its easy, but because its hard.
