    Default Boat soft top repair

I broke a bow on my softtop last week and need to get it replaced. Where do you get the metal bows in Anchorage or the Valley? I would really like to have it by this holiday weekend.

    Default make one?

I've got 1/2" and 3/4" conduit benders if you can make one from thin wall conduit. Or, sleeve the broken area and rivit the sleeve in place.

    Smile Soft Top Repair

See Tom at Spenard Uphostlery. He does a lot of boat canvas and has a lot of parts and likely can fix you up. He's always treated me well on my boat canvas and uphostlery jobs.

I have done a quick patch job before by slipping a piece of 1/2 inch copper inside the broken bow and clamping it on either end with hose clamps and wrapping the whole shebang with tape. It got me through a weekend in PWS when I was staying out for a whole weekend. I always carry a couple pieces of copper in my tool box to slip inside of a blown hose. Ya just never know.
