    Default Ice thickness reports

Itching for some ice fishing! Does anyone have an ice thickness report for some interior lakes? Hoping to fish Fielding but would also be interested in Quartz.

    Thanks!

Not sure about the lakes you mentioned, but Lake Louise still has open water.

I'm currently away but as of late last week even the smaller interior ponds were completely open. I'm not optimistic about getting on the ice for a few more weeks.

I went up CHSR yesterday and chopped through ice in a few spots, and it was about 3" around the edge of ponds with some spots near conduits and inlets still open. Temperature hit 41 at my house today, in Two Rivers.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully we'll be able to get after it here soon.

The Fairbanks area pike ponds have 3-4 inches of ice with 2-4 inches of overflow on them. Use extreme caution. I'm going to try some of them after the overflow freezes.
