    Default Shaktoolik Fishing

I am headed to shaktoolik next week for some work. Has anyone ever fished around that area? Wasnt sure if it worth bringing a rod or not.

The Shaktoolik River runs just North and East of the town. You can walk to it. Should be grayling and dollies in it. It was frozen the winter I was there but people did ice fished it. I am pretty sure all the salmon runs are over but maybe, just maybe, silvers might still be there. I remember walking over to another river, might of been the same but not sure.

Hillary moved to NY and I moved out.

Sounds good. We will be surveying and have a ATV so should be able to find an area to cast a line. Thanks for the info
