    I'm pretty sure he means "Capital City" as in Juneau. I could be wrong I guess, but that's what I assumed.

    Yum! I do the same with mine...either Alder or Cedar planks depending on the mood. Usually, I cut open the vacuum bag and dump in a cup or so of Yoshida's Teriyaki Sauce to marinade the fillet a bit.

    Kraft Zesty Italian dressing does it up good, too.

    Fish tacos for lunch today at my place. ;-)

    Planks give it a touch of smoke flavor, trick is getting those planks on for 10-15 minutes before the fillets so they can get to smoking.
    Salt, pepper, drizzle with a little birch syrup- mmmmmmm

    Same way we do it down south.

    And Carp are also done this way...only difference is.....when it's cooked... you scrape the the fish off... and eat the plank...lol...
