    Default Fish Finder

I'm looking to buy a new fish finder under $1000. What are some suggestions and also, where is best place in Anchorage for installation?

Lots of good stuff. You wanting a gps/fish finder combo?

I use a Garmin 94sv on all my charters with a gt51 transducer. Works great.

I have a 74sv and it's great. Quick draw real time Contours and has easy more features I haven't tried out yet. If I did it again I would get the 94 sv for the bigger screen

The new Garmin g3 charts for offshore use are money. Sucks we have to spend $200 but they put your older Garmin in the big leagues.

I like a stand alone FF. I have a 94sv as my FF. Then a Garmin 840xs as the chartplotter/radar. Works great

The gps is much quicker on the 840. Almost twice as fast. Makes landing on small spots easy.
