Default Any experience with Barnes expanding MZ muzzleloader bullets and tight bores?

Bought a set of the Barnes Expanding MZ bullets/sabots for my .54 double. These were extremely hard to load. Anyone else have this issue?
.530 round ball with .010 patch was easy. with .015 patch was tight and took a little muscle. the Barnes basically needed to be hammered in until a partway down the barrel.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

hmm, a friend and I had to use a different sabots because they were too hard to stuff in the barrel. all my reloading gear is put away and I can't rememebr the name of the sabot. I know that's not much help, sorry. You might do a Google search on sabots and barnes.....good luck
