Default New pot design fishing well

Customers are reporting that my new style pots are fishing well, one customer reported he had 5 gals in one pot. The pots are 36 x 24 so not small, they have a bait cage large enough to hold a gallon milk jug for a bait container. I think they will work well for folks that tend to set them on the way out and then pick them up on the way home after a day or couple of days soak. A slightly smaller version is in the works.

Hey Steve - what is the biggest difference between these new ones and the originals?

They have a extra tunnel in the middle of the pot so once they get back in the "parlor" they stay put plus it gets them away from the bait cage so more can come in to belly up to the bar.

Looks a lot like a design I use but a little different. I have 3 entrances on the left side, then the fence, bait is on the other side. That way they go thru the fence and stay around the bait. I have had 3 gallons in one of those.

I have plans for an even different design, just not the equipment to make them. Might be patentable.

Hillary moved to NY and I moved out.

It would be interesting to fish them on the same line with the old ones for a comparison. With only allowed 3 pots now I already have too many sitting at home not fishing and I still catch a few with the original model

I have a customer who fishes both styles he reported that my original style fishes better on short 4-6 hour soaks but the new style have fished better on overnights or longer soaks. "Best pot ever with 172 shrimp in it."

Thanks for the reply - Sounds like I am still good to go - we keep the soak time to a minimum unless we need to sleep for a few hours!
