Default 2019 Klutina river reports official

Anyone been having any luck lately throwing hooks near the bridge? What can a guy expect right now if he puts in a few solid hours of flipping?

Well that is usually always the case late June and early July on the Klutina. Iím just thinking with 630,000 plus fish already past miles lake there has got to be some decent flipping to be had.

10 days ago was good if you found where they were holding

Found 1 spot that wasnít easy to get out to but once in it, everybody that knew how to
    fish limited quickly

Wife and a friend limited at bridge by Salmon Grove also - gotta believe itís still pretty good with those numbers

but yes, lots of people there

Bump! Seems like the water level in the copper valley has risen a fair amount over the past few days.

How has the fishing been in this heat? Down in the area now and thinking about trying it.

Was there at King for a Day campground Fri and Sat. Water brown and high. Saw maybe 6 fish on stringers. Got line wet but not motivated enough in the heat to keep trying.

Thanks for the report and I definitely hear you on the heat! I believe there will be a good push of fish when the temp drops later in the week. I personally think fish are in somewhat of a holding pattern down by Tiekel confluence
