Default 2019...Cool° start to the Garden

Put in some lettuce plants & sprouted peas from GH pots.
    A bed of radish seeds.
    (5-16-19 )
    ...
onions doing pretty good, but some warmth & sun would be helpful.
Raspberries are doing darn good, due to mild winter, sprouting all the way to the tops.
    Ate some rhubarb.
    ...
Keeping the bulk of the garden plants in the GH,
Hopefully June warms the soil up 10° + & bring some sunny days

The temp of my soil, in my raised beds is 50-52. I planted direct some radishes, turnips and beets. Now I'm going to start hardening off some brassicas.

Default Soil temp still marginal for planting. Mine near 40° this AM.

This is one of those years that test our patience.
Some of the 80s were similar. & the norm was to plant the garden starting in June.

I have put out my onion sets , & some lettuce.
I started pea seeds in the garden, (soaked seeds for 4 hours) & had some left overs, so
I put them in 6packs in th GH. Well the GH plans are up , none of the garden seeds
poking thru yet. Planted the one is the 6 pack today.
Same with some spinach, GH seeds doing well so put some in the garden, no garden seeds up yet.

Covered the lettuce with some AgFabric today. Hoping to get it a little warmer.

Default Planted Bean wrong but sending down a root

    Bean should be sprouting doon
    seeing roots forming:
Notice I planted bean wrong, sideways.
Should be with the eye down (inside curve)
so riot can form stronger & push the
    plant up thru the soil.

you'd think bean seeds would come with a warning "This End UP"
