This is a question I continue to mull over. 3 pot string would be one and done pulling wise. But 2 strings....I just dont like putting all my eggs in one basket so to speak.

What about three singles? I will probably do two and one, find a spot that produces and prospect for a better one with the other.

I have almost aways done a full string, be it 4 or 5. I ran two sets of 4 when it was 8 pots. I wil just do a string of 3. Everytime they switch things for us I have to re-do my lines a little.

I do the same. We have hydraulics, so longer lines aren't a problem. I've always ran all of the pots on one line except for the year when 8 were allowed.

I’ll just go with 3 pots on one string. Quicker to set, quicker to pull.

2, 1 this season. I'm still searching for a spot closer to port that produces good numbers. I found a a good producer my first season out last year and I hope to find a new one closer. Possibly near Blackstone Bay??????????

I'll also try trolling for kings this season since ADFG has started stocking them in recent years.

Gonna do 2 + 1, figure it's a good reason to prospect new areas and find new holes. Or draw blanks. Probably blanks.

Sometimes you just have to filter that water out there!

I’ll probably do both depending on who knows what.

I'm in the process of switching my strings a little, I plan on running three pots to a string. But I have enough strings to set three singles in order to prospect a little once I find a good place to set I'll stick with one string and three pots.

2 and 1 until I find a good spot. Going to prospect with the 1 in some crazy areas. Goingsupee deep and in some different places. Have some ideas for shallow areas as well. Should be interesting.
