Thread: Time for another tophouse build

  1. #1

Default Time for another tophouse build

Give me your thoughts, I was thinking about following the windscreen angle to get the windows up to the height needed to clear the upper helm stuff. Then I thought about building straight up, which would be a lot easier to lay up. This is a pic of what I'm working with.

I would love to see a forward build along the line of the wind visor.

aren't you going to lose a lot of room in the tophouse by leaning those windows so far back ? Don't know what your going to use for the panels but i posted a bunch of info on nida/plasti core material in "composite decking" on here about a month ago.

We've got nidacore for the core, I want to try to match the lower windows angle if I can, the dash is pretty large on the flybridge so I think the top of the windows will still be a little ahead of the wheel.

Kinda slow, hopefully get the windows ordered next week. I haven't been up to help much and the guy doing the work is working mostly by himself.
