Default Valdez Goat and Bear Nov/Dec?

Just wondering who has hunted out of Valdez in Nov/Dec for goats and bears?

I am stuck in Iraq till that time frame and want to give it a try. I understand the weather has the potential to be pretty foul during this time. Just wondering what the animals are doing.

Are the goats up high on the ridgelines where they can find exposed food or down in the trees?

Any bears still out looking for food?

I have a good boat and would like to take it out, is the boat ramp even open then? Does it get icy? Would it be a good idea to bring a set of tire chains or will a good set of studded tires be ok?

From going over the goat harvest reports it looks like the majority are taken out by Columbia Glacier. Is it better to look for them right around the glacier itself or in surrounding bays?

Ok, do any of you have any info on hunting goats in Valdez at any time during the fall? Any suggestions or not to do's?

Any areas that should be avoided due to lack of goats or inability to get to them?
