    Default FWC and bears.

    i'm thinking of getting one of these rigs and wanted to know if anybody has had issues with bears and this type of popup canvas rig.

    I spent about 30 days in my tow-behind popup in fairly dense bear country last summer (AK, Canadian Rockies, north/central ID) with zero issues. Mosquitoes, now, that's a different story...

    I still have one that's going on 63 years old now sitting in my yard. Can't bring myself to get rid of it as it's been a storage shed for quite a few years now. Loaded it up and headed to Alaska going on 36 years ago now. Would like to rebuild it as they are great campers, and from what I recall, were actually designed with the Alcan in mind. Mine made the trip a few times. No problems.
    Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!
