I got into a family of grouse one day and had dropped several with my bow already when a couple of them flew up into a nearby birch tree. I aimed at a close one while moving around so as to put the tree trunk behind the bird. I nailed that one and the arrow with the big blunt on it bounced right back near me. I was able to pick the arrow back up and get one more grouse. Had half my limit right there. It was a good day, and great practice.
