Default Any Fish in the Coleen River?

Grayling? Pike? Chum Salmon? Dolly Varden? Whitefish? Sheefish? Anything? How far upriver? Lower river only? Upper river? Mid-river?

Did you book a charter already? I was hoping to float the neighboring Sheenjek a few years ago and couldn’t find a reasonably priced charter for the same year.

Nope. A friend of mine has. And I was just wondering if there was any fishing in the river. Do you know if there are any fish in the river? I would assume just about every creek and river up there has some grayling in the river, but I wasn't sure.

I floated the river back in 2010. We landed at the foothills of the brooks range and took out 100 miles south. We only caught grayling. They were plentiful and of good size.

Did a couple of fly-ins back in the late 90's, plenty of huge Grayling.
