Usually by July 18th there are good numbers of fresh pinks present. Depending on the year, give or take a few days around this date. By August 1st they are mostly turned, but still plentiful.

Come July 14th, Bird and Ship Creek open up for fishing. It sounds like more silvers than pinks are sneaking up the Inlet right now.

Took the nieces and nephews down today for the high tide. They had a blast and caught their limit of fresh pinks. Fish down lower for fresh fish. Silvers are trickling in. Saw three coho mixed with pinks in tidewater. One of the kids landed a chrome silver. Made my day.
