    Default first hit in unit 7 so they are waking up.

    cooper landing area so they are starting to move around.

    I seen one this weekend on skilak loop on the hidden lake side. He knew he was safe and just hung out on the road for a bit. The kids thought it was cool but both my 4 and 6yr old didnt understand about closed areas and kept asking why we were not shooting it.

    Reminds me of when they started to enforce the Kenai bank restrictions.... We walked down to a place we'd always fished and was followed by a fish cop who said we had to leave. My son was only a few years old and started to cry when we told him we couldn't go fishing there....
    Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

    Got our first hit on the 9th by a decent grizz and he was back early morning on the 13th. The snow has finally melted off and they are starting to move around more.
