    Default Spring 2018 rides

Rode 43 mile & several MUPs (Multi Use Paths)

    Trunk path
    from the Parks to PWH
is open & wet in quite a few places.

    Bogard Path
from Colony to Palmer open all but one 50' shaded place, but can walk around the ice.

Rode Bogard from Colony to Wasilla,
dry shoulders, gravel not too bad.

Parks trail from Church to the RR overpass is open, wet in a few spots,
Walked thru the RR underpass ...from there, the Path to Pittman was good.

Vine from Parks to Phenix shoulders are ok, gravel but rideable , wet thru to KGB
Crossing from the MUP to Vine a bit muddy,

KGB MUP is open, wet , gravel at road intersections.
(I was riding it W to E, a couple road crossing were marginal for traffic,
not a fan riding a path on the left side of the road for travel direction)

PWH path from KGB , by Home Depot to Parks is good

Blue Lupine Path from Lowes to Trunk is ok, some big gravel in places
( The Sears part has the normal 6"thick gravel on it , but was still frozen)

All in all a good 43 mi ride

    KGB-Clapp path ridable.
RR underpass on Parks trail ice/water, I rode the Parks shoulder over the RR then hopped on Path to Pittman
Pittman ok Parks to Beverly Lake, Bev Lk ok- not much traffic
Seldon path still covered in several places, gravelly

Bogard 5-6' shoulders are good, some gravel:

    37 mile, 54°. SUNNY. !!!!

    KGB/Hollywood to Big Lake
    Big Lake rd/ Parks

    KGB path mostly dry ,
    Hollywood OK, , low traffic
Big Lk rd lots of sand/gravel outside white line on shoulder but ridable.

Parks MUP (multi use path) sucks from Big lake to Pittman, tons of
sand/gravel & the road intersections worse.

Rode Parks Hwy thru Wasilla going East,
Road sweeper was out sweeping shoulder
from KGB intersection --- East to Lowes turn
