I have a few Polaris RMKs. The newest one is 2015 and has a 163 inch track. I just looked up the weight out of curiosity and it says 424lbs empty. Do you consider that low weight? I know its easy to maneuver in deep powder and is lighter than many sleds of the past...

    LIGHTWEIGHT

Many would like to be able to purchase a new lightweight snowmobile as you can see from this post.

This person built his own amazing lightweight snowmobile that will out perform any new machine when the going gets tight, slow, and tough. Of course not many (maybe not any) would have the skills to build one like this. 300 pounds with a 174" long track, reverse and a 4-stroke single is amazing. Yet it appears to be tough and reliable.
