Here's a some pics of a davit we are just about finished with. Pivots 360 and tilts 30, 45, and 60 degree. Set up for use as a crane or simply to pull pots.

Thought we might see some davit ads featuring Stormy Daniels. Might want to consider her as a spokesperson........

Not quite as hot as Stormy but even she doesn't have welds as sexy. I'm sure it pull pots faster then she does.....got a chance to try it out over the weekend and got a lot of tail....

Default 27' North River Davit Install

Grinding and welding on a new boat is never exciting and why it's always best to have these options completed during the build process but this new 27' NR didn't come with the davit option so we are installing the davit and crane here at the dealership......turned out nice and nearly the same as done at the factory.

Nice setup. I had something similar done on my river boat--should have seen the guy at the check station when I pulled in by myself with a whole gutted moose in the bow of my boat (shot him right on the riverbank and hooked up the winch!).

What are the popular set ups for a Davit/puller on a 240 pacific explorer?

I donít want to lose too much fishing space. Am I limited to just the port side?

Port side looks most promising without a major redesign of the starboard. Starboard side would require a redesign of steerinig station

Nice install Mel. I like how the hauler isn't crowded up against the rail so the rope can fall down and out of the way against the side of the hull.

Andy, give BKmail a call and let him do the install. He can hook you up.
