Dad wasn’t picky. Bears were a problem but didn’t have to shoot one, weather was normal. Lol wet windy sunny and cloudy! Two more deer hunts to go.

Well four more Deer are dead. Three more bears are fed. Momma and cub had a great time with two of them and a younger sow enjoyed one as well.i have one more deer hunt to go this year and then I’ll be hanging up the gearmfor yhe winter. Headed back down tomorrow hoping for a weather break to get to camp and get this rolled up with a great ending!

Well, there's not a lot to say. Only God knows what this means for your guiding career. My wife's illness forced me to say goodbye to mine. If this is it, then it was a better run than most, my friend. If not, then I hope to see more of your adventures in the future. Keep that license active if you can.

It occurred to me that most of us never know when we'll glass our last windswept valley, pack our last moose, get out of the raft for the last time, or when our last step off the gravel bar and onto our last Bush flight will be. All we can do is to live each day to the hilt in the time we have.
