    Default over 43,000

Over 43,000 went by the counter on the 19th. Man I just got home to fairbanks after a week on the kenai. I think the fish did it on purpose.

Default Kasilof vs. Kenai Sockeye size

In my limited dipnetting experience it seems that Kenai River reds are much larger than Kasilof River reds. If so, could this be due to more years at sea for Kenai fish before returning? This is my primary reason for not dipnetting in the Kasilof, and focusing on the Kenai instead.

Does my size opinion fit yours? What say ye?

In my experience everything that comes out of the Kenai is bigger! I dipped a Pink last year that was as long as my leg!
