So it's that time again. Who do we like in the ANC or Kenai Peninsula area for Basic Meds or Class 3?
Thanks in advance.

I remember doc green, the good ole days down by spenard
"f/64 and be there"
Phil,
I am going to aviation med services in Atown Tuesday for 3rd class on the way home from work. They charge a lot less than I used to pay in Soldotna.
Just remember........ DEFPOTEC
I used to use Dr. Gonzolo-Fraiser in Soldotna. But he retired. Then I used Doc Hansen a couple times but I think he retired as well.
My 2nd class is due again so I will probably head up to Los Anchorage as well. Hopefully I will make another plane-search trip out of it.
I think there is somebody here in Homer, but the medical establishment in Homer has done their best to misdiagnose and darn near kill me on numerous occasions. And they missed a tumor the size of a grape-fruit in the middle of my moms chest last June and it killed her in December. . So,,,, road trip.

I do, was it really that long ago? If I remember correctly his office was in Spenard near Gwennies. It was a pretty good deal for out of town pilots. He also had a bed and breakfast and car rentals. Before that I used to go to Doc Rogers. He was in the basement of the Humana Hospital. Good guy to go to for a no hassle medical. His primary medical specialty was a pathologist...he told pilots he only wanted to see them in his office for flight physicals.
