Pretty impressive what the boats can do with a little bit of hp! Makes the higher tubes look pretty practical...is it June yet?!

What is the purpose of the top tube? Is it just extra inflation?

Just more free board, splash protection, gets the cover higher for more gear, also gets the oar locks higher up and a litter further out putting them in a better position

How much do those boats weigh? And what are the dimensions when deflated/rolled up for transport? Thanks!

They come in a duffel bag, 2 people can easily manage it.
    The 13 1/2’ weighs in at 125#.

Glad to see this thread and this info. Really interested in these inflatables with tunnels and jets. There is another good thread on this topic on mean chicken- Zodiac hulls with jets: http://meanchicken.net/webmain/forum...?f=109&t=15113

I would love to hear feedback on how these boats perform. Any one received one yet?

I saw some talk on Tohatsu and Mercury jets. I always thought Evinrude Etec would be a great way to go. Two stroke power/torque and lighter weight.

Any info on price? I see on the website a Solar 380 is 72,500 Rubles so about $1,200 USD

These boats seem to be quite popular in Russia, here is another type, Sib River, comparable overall specs but the jet tunnel is different.

Quite a bit more to buy them here after shipping, taxes, and logistics are covered. Closer to 2300 for the 380 and up from there.

Any newer info on these? I wish the Jet Ranger were just a tad bigger. It will probably do, but another foot in length and 8" in width would be real nice.

Put mine away for the season, a lot of fun and use, when I cleaned it up the bottom looked new! The poly bottom is very tough and slick I just drove it on my flat bed snow machine trailer. The boat met and exceeded my expectations.

John which boat did you get ? What are you going to use for a motor.

My buddy and I bought a 2nd boat, bought the new 420 Camo boat with the smaller tubes mainly as a fly in boat, buddy already has a LW 20 hp 2 stroke factory jet a Merc. Boat and motor combo around 250 #. Hoping they
    arrive around break up time.

Well my 420 Vega arrived looks nice smaller tubes than the standard 420 , bought it for a fly in boat and plan on using a LW 20 hp 2 Stroke Mercury factory
    jet outboard.
