So with just over a week to go until ADFG puts either a gift or a lump of coal in your stocking, if you could only get two of the tags that you applied for, what would they be?

Probably everyone wants a buffalo. I'd like an archery moose too. But since I have not drawn a tag since 2011.....I'll take a spruce hen tag if they offered one.

Bison is pretty low on my list, though I wouldnít complain. Sheep and goat. Always sheep and goat. Though...now that I think about it, the bison tag I applied for would be an adventure, so Iíll take that as well.

Should be lots of teaching jobs in Valdez this year. Maybe 14 taking an early out. You might also want to try the tug escort. I don't know who got the new contract but there might be openings there too.

Interesting. Not to derail the thread, but we're cutting significant numbers next year if our projected budget holds. Will be lots of our teachers looking for work, depending on how much attrition there is elsewhere in the district. I'll pass along the news.

Beings I drew two tags last year I'm not the most hopeful this year unless I can keep a streak going but...i'll gladly take Kodiak brown bear and archery moose or unit 20 Caribou.

I've only drawn one tag since 2005.

Haven't drawn a sheep tag since 2004. Yes, I do put in. Every. Single. Year.

    Thank God for harvest tickets!

You're doing better than many in having drawn that sheep tag. For me, goat has been my nemesis. I've been putting in the maximum number of choices for goat tags since I was 16. 23 years later I still have not drawn a single one. That's the beauty and the curse of a random draw, I suppose.
