Mario's Aircraft Services at Wolf Lake. I don't know Mario personally and don't have direct experience with any services. But, one of is A&Ps, Jeff is a good guy. He helped me with getting my recently purchased 170 from Dillingham to Birchwood.

Mario for sure. Been doing annuals with him for awhile now. He does good work and is very common sense fellow.

I bought my 150 from Mario. There is another guy that lives behind Mario’s hanger and his name is John. Both great guys.

Well... I had a heated hangar here in Homer standing-by in quick pre-buy mode. I was paying round trip for fuel and buying lunch. Even had all the loot in the AK-USA account since they are open part of Saturday. But the seller said the winds up in the valley were pretty snappy. So the Arm would have not been much fun to cross either. Too bad it was nice and calm down here. Still is. I may end up making the 10-12 hr round trip drive after-all.

I think a lot of people had plans for today in front of a tv.
Not me, I am not a football watcher.
Hopefully the valley winds will calm down for a couple weeks.

It was a good game. Winds are looking good for the present, but you never know about the Valley.

Hit up Mario. He does my annuals and regular maintenance. Heck of a guy and great wrench even if he's a little unconventional.

    ????? and ?

Anyone have a contact for Mario? The current owner does not know him. I was really hoping to do it here so I could plug the info into the 100 hours schedule and start the clock.

Thanks. I am sure I will get with the owner /seller. He is one of those people who work all the time. The types that built the country. So God bless is over-achieving.

That's what I mean when I say unconventional. He is surprisingly and refreshingly good to deal with.
