Default PETES Creek near BERTHA Creek (Turnagain) Question

Does anyone know any history about Pete's Creek...??? Not about gold production, but about the name of the creek (Pete Creek). There was a small cabin there till they enlarged the Seward Hwy. from one and a half lanes wide.
