That is not encouraging. Can you share any details on the damages/repairs?

Well here's an update own my raft. It's the Gary King 8'10" tender and I used a short shaft 2.5 HP Zuke on it and it worked well. I had to replace the plastic motor mount with a shorter one to get the water intake into the water enough, but it pushed my raft well. Heck I could even get on step easily. But I am going to be looking for a long shaft Suzuki this winter. It sure doesn't take much motor to push these light rafts. Very stable in the water as well.

How do you think a 7'-10" will do with oars? I probably won't buy a motor for it until next year.

They do fine, but you don't want to anchor too far off shore or get caught in a skookumchuck.

I've got an 8' West marine with the plywood floor. Rows great. Or with a 9.9 ht Yami 4stroke you had best sit down and hang on lol

So, I had it upside down on the boat roof over the summer and one day in whittier it was sunny and hot. I know, I know , just trust me here.
I was anticipating some warmer weather so I deflated the tubes down. I think I might have missed the keel. When I was back at the boat awhile later, there was substantial delaminating around the raft.
I am really sure that it is probably all my fault and Jim agreed to repair it anyways. ( Nice guy). What I'm not sure though is if the glue is up to par as It had a corner of the oar locks loosening up and one or two other spots when it was brand new, just inflated. I took pictures and will see if they post.
Granted, everyone on here seems to love the rafts so I'm sure it was only this one single raft that has had issues.

Jim, being the nice guy that he is, agreed to repair the raft sometime this summer when I dropped it off. I believe that was in June or July, and I hear it's getting close to done so after receiving it I will try it on a PWS deer hunt.
