Default Anybody else get their Emperor???

After 30 plus years was finally able to go out again and get an Emperor. Been a long wait. Went with my old man and we got our two.

Well I guess not many have ADF&G has only five reported harvested out of the 150 quota for where we were. They were kind of surprised there were not more. They though there would be a rush for people to get one. So still plenty of time and permits left!!!

Should see more harvested later as they will have better plumage and more fat.

Amazing birds! We had a vagrant juvenile Emporer down here in UT. He was shot by a dike hunter. The F&G let him keep it, they know nobody down here would have been able to identify it in the air, honest mistake!
