Default How do I adjust my shock?

I have a coil over shock in the front on my track suspension. Has the two nuts that fit up against the bottom of the spring. How do I tighten that shock up? I have the two little tools in my tool kit for them but couldn't get either of them loose. What's the trick?

Most likely you would back off the bottom nut and then tighten up the top one to the point that you want and then tighten up the bottom nut tight against the top one.If you can't get enough leverage on it to break it loose you might have to use something like a punch and knock it loose.

Punch. Good idea. Couldn't get it backed off with the little wrench. Wondered if it has a set screw or something I was over looking.

These are all I could pull up from the arctic cat manual, so they must be really tight. It helps it you can get the track off the ground to take any load off the shocks. I know there's not a lot of room to work in there but see if you could possibly get a longer bar/tube onto the end of the shock tool.
